What you can do

Verify your own identity

Confirm your NIN, BVN, driver's licence, voter's card, passport, or CAC in a few taps. Free, always.

Look someone else up

Vetting a landlord, tenant, or agent? Search their ID for a small one-time fee, no account needed.

Share proof when you need it

Turn a completed check into a shareable image, hand it to whoever's asking, without handing over your raw ID number.

Keep a private history

Every check you've run stays on your device, encrypted, so you can find it again later.

Nothing stored that shouldn't be

Your ID numbers go straight to U-verify's verification service, encrypted in transit, the app itself never stores them.

The same checks businesses pay for

It's the identical verification engine used by companies integrating U-verify's API, just free and pointed at your own phone.

A few honest answers

Is it really free?

Verifying your own ID is completely free. Looking up someone else's costs a small one-time fee only if it hasn't been checked before, you'll always see the price before paying anything.

Do I need to sign up?

No account is required to use the app or the web search tool. Nothing asks for a password.

What happens to my NIN or BVN after I check it?

It's sent directly to U-verify's verification service and checked against the official record. The app itself doesn't keep a copy, your private history only stores the result, not the raw number, on your device.

I'm not very familiar with apps. Is this hard to use?

No, enter a name and a number, tap one button, and you get a plain answer. If you get stuck anywhere, real people are one message away.

Stuck? Talk to a real person.

No ticket queue, no bot. WhatsApp us directly or open the support portal, both work whether you're a developer, a business owner, or just someone trying to verify a NIN.
